Stef’s history in art started at a young age and her training has been a constant throughout her life. Her Torn Series brings together her dual practices of painting and sculpture, merging surface and form through layered fiber compositions.

While formal study and mentorship have shaped her technical foundation, it is her lived experience that most informs her artistic vision. Fourteen years in Chicago and New York City, a formative year in The Bahamas, and extensive international travel have each expanded her visual language. These shifting environments and cultures continue to influence the way she translates texture, rhythm, and landscape into sculptural expression.
