My work in abstraction involves playing with specific shapes that live in a space of friction or harmony within their surroundings. My color palette is inspired by the many places I've lived (NYC, Chicago, Denver and The Bahamas) and traveled to (Bali, Morocco, Ecuador, France, Italy, Singapore). Whatever I'm creating, I start with a setting, an environment and a mood from my past.
You might notice my work has a wide range of color and movement. From my serene Lagoon collection to my series "Graffiti Season", my preference is to play with a multitude of styles, which has been an asset while working alongside designers whose needs shift with every home or commercial space they create.
I work in mixed media (Acrylics, Encaustic Wax, Charcoals, Plaster, Inks, Oil Pastels and Graphite) all on stretched canvas or framed board.
I've set up shop in Austin, Texas where I spend my days painting, designing and living on tacos with my husband and our two adorable dogs.
